Good Friendship cut short

At school, I normally eat at the same place everyday because I know a lot of people that work there and I love boba tea and chicken.
Basically the supervisor always would reject everything for me from my crazy combinations to my stupid questions like “can I have the store’s mascot costume for Halloween?” One day she told me she felt so bad for always saying no and that she knew I wasn’t trying to start trouble but that I was asking lightheartedly. She started to accept my actions when they weren’t too crazy and enjoyed my satisfaction from everything she suggested to every crazy combo I’d make. We became very good friends within this quarter and I’m so glad to have a friend like her.

Sadly, she is moving on with her life and doing a job that will further herself and her career and leaving Riverside altogether to LA. Despite the sadness of me not seeing her there again, I’m so happy she is doing what she’s been wanted to do.
It sucks mainly because we have only been friends for a couple months but I feel like she’s one of my best friends now and it feels weird to see her leave already.

Now whenever I go to eat lunch or dinner I know I won’t have that “day-making” moment all the time by her kindness to me, that I will miss. But I’m glad I got to meet and have a friend like her. Thanks so much for all you have done within our short friendship and I hope you have also enjoyed the little things I do to try to “pay you back” in a way. Ill miss our times when we hang out after you get off work and all the times we hang out during your breaks and such. Hopefully we shall see each other again! :,)
